log #501: the beograd session

The first task on that trip was a lesson in overcoming space. Heimo Müller is running a military truck from the 1960ies. It's a mobile media lab now. But first of all it is loud and slow. Going down south with that old rig helped me to slow down, to adjust my sense of time on another level; way of blocking up the speed demon. (Speed | Space)

It also gives another idea of "street", because the car chassis tells your ass every little sensation on the road. Next step was the debate with artist Selman Trtovac. Reflecting the status quo, thinking about the ongoing narration, the work in progress; finally the conclusion related to the subject "savant syndrome" and the self test Selman will start.

It will be leading to our 2016 art symposion. This could get a process to turn our "The Ghost in the Machine" in something different, when the machine becomes an "soft intruder" by overriding or pumping up the cognitive processes of Trtovac. (Related to Fiat Lux.)

As this was part of the process on location, then we made a decision on the "Montenegro Session", Müller will realize there, while I am doing a trip with artist Milan Bosnic to eastern Serbia. Just a temporary solution installing a Work of Trtovac in the dust of time, like we gonna do with "The Vanishing Exhibition". (Speed | Space)

The Setting at the Dunav

I did a first set of "The Vanishing Exhibition" with Trtovac, putting there a visual Short Story, just giving some impact on one single person, as I will do in the eastern outskirts the day after Bosnic and me were heading Rajacke Pimnice.

There I learned what it means: "Follow the bad road and you will be right." Next level of slowing down. Even if Ivica was announcig, he will do a little job in ten minutes and after about 20 minutes we found him sitting, having a break. As we asked for the job to be done, he said: "Yes, no problme. Ten minutes!"
